Full Stack Developer
Duration: 6 months. CTH (Conversion can happen as early as 3 months).
Location: Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA (1st preference) OR Plano, TX (2nd preference) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Schedule: 40 Hr. The developer will be on a rotational after hours on call shift once every 2 months.
Years of experience: 8
Must Have: Hands on experience in Java 8 , Spring Boot and Angular 10 development, Cucumber, Cypress, AWS services, Jenkins, AWS EKS, OpenShift, MongoDB, Automated deployments experience, Agile Methodology etc.
Preferred: Experience in Python, Atlassian Suite and SQL, and experience coaching junior developers.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience engineering awesome solutions.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of demonstrated experience working in modernized development teams.
- Knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations.
- Good communication skills. The incumbent will be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT.
- Languages: Java, Angular, node.js, Python
- Modern Tools: Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git
- DBs: Mongo, PostgreSQL
- Cloud: AWS
- Other: EKS, Docker, OpenShift
