We are expanding our team! Zilli Hospitality Group is now interviewing to hire a detail-oriented, hospitality-loving Assistant Event Designer.

As an Assistant Event Designer, you are ½ of a power-house team, delivering personal customer service experiences with your Event Designer. We need an organized, systems-driven individual.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Fosters a healthy working environment based on mutual respect and camaraderie - we are family and friends here!
  • Receives leads via phone, email, in-person, and referrals; follows the lead management procedures.
  • Details final contracts, ensuring accuracy for the execution process, providing a final invoice, floor plan, and final contract.
  • Creates cost estimates and enters contracts to assist the partnered Event Designer in closing new business.
  • Provides accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, management, and planners.
  • Becomes the valued resource for social and corporate clients on all packages, as well as the details of each room and rules of the venue.
  • Schedules and confirms appointments in the sales calendar.
  • Answers the phones and assists with the needs of the caller.
  • Conducts in-person and virtual venue tours, provides both private and group interface with all clients to ensure satisfactory communication taking place.
  • Reconciles completed event contracts, reviews event analysis reports, solicits customer reviews, creates proper social media posts.
  • Attends and participates in weekly sales meetings.
  • Completes daily, weekly, and monthly assigned office paperwork and responsibilities.
  • Loves hospitality!

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales and customer service-related business.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid analytical skills relative to revenue generation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Capable of interacting with multiple teleconferencing and social media platforms.
  • Although primarily a Monday-Friday focused work-week, must be flexible to accommodate hours that may include some evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrated dependability.
  • Valid driver's license and access to insured transportation.
