Ziehm Orthoscan Inc. is currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented professional with a positive can-do attitude to join our team as a full-time Northeast Regional Business Manager located in Philadelphia PA and surrounding areas. Candidate must possess 5 years minimum working knowledge in medical equipment sales management.

  • Competitive pay: starting salary $75,000 and commensurate with skills and experience up to $95,000, eligible to receive discretionary commission and bonus plan.

JOB SUMMARY:

Plans and directs all aspects of the organization’s sales, policies, objectives, customer service goals and initiatives within the designated Region. Directly manages a group of Account Managers, Applications Specialists, and indirectly Service Personnel in order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and maximum profitability for the Region.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Complies with departmental policies, procedures, functions and/or established practices as per the quality systems manual, SOP’s, Work Instructions, etc. by which to maximize product quality.
  • Acknowledges, adapts, and accurately assesses the demands of the market and provides a proper response which is consistent with organizational goals, policies, procedures and/or practices.
  • Manages the Account Managers and provides training and direction as necessary in order to gain market share, protect company image as well as assets, and increase the customer base.
  • Responsible for accurate sales forecasting to the National Sales Manager as requested.
  • Responsible for maintaining budgets and for furnishing reports concerning expenses within the Region to the National Sales Manager.
  • Responsible for informing Regulatory Affairs of customer complaints.
  • Support company objectives, policies, procedures and established practices.
  • Must be able to handle stress positively, effectively, and in the way most appropriately for the benefit of the department and company. Able to positively respond to change and handle any other tasks assigned.
  • Achieves Regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; productivity, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; Identifying trends; determining regional sales improvements; implementing change.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with customers; and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Accomplishes regional sales human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, employees and sales agents in assigned territory. Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contribution; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Accomplishes sales and organizations mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS from an accredited University and/or College in Business Management, Administration, or other closely related business field preferred.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
  • Must possess 5 years minimum working knowledge and experience of C-Arm, Radiology, and/or other medical sales management, marketing department infrastructures, and customer driven markets.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Must report company expenses incurred within the set company timeline.
  • This position requires continued education as needed to keep on top of trends within the industry, product development, etc.
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license and meet company insurability guidelines.
  • Must possess strong leadership, training & development, and communication skills; ability to work through difficult and/or confusing issues and to provide solutions and resolution that both meets company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Must be willing to travel on a moment’s notice, domestic and international.
  • Must have attention to detail. Must be highly dependable and have a strong desire from problem solving.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; possess good customer service skills and consistently find ways by which to train and develop sales and applications personnel. Must maintain a functional presence within the Region and/or Hub. 
  • The employee in this position works closely with users in the office environment, with our parent company based in Europe and outside vendors. Having knowledge of and demonstrating a willingness to work professionally through different personalities, cultures’ beliefs, values, and traditions is a must. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Majority of the work is performed on site and at a customer’s facility.
  • Must be willing to travel and work overtime as required.
  • May require PPE and periodic exposure to low dose radiation.
