We are seeking a responsible individual to join our team at Zia Family Focus Center. As Program Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to students and staff. Zia Family Focus center specializes in providing a creative, fun environment for kids of differing age groups to come together, socialize, learn and interact in a spontaneous and enjoyable way. Responsibilities
- Setting up classrooms with materials
- Overseeing student attendance and dismissal
- Developing working relationships with families
- Assisting teachers in the classroom
- Assisting director and office manager in day-to-day tasks
- Maintaining an inventory of classroom supplies
- Organizing classrooms and storage rooms
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for all students
- Administering first aid when necessary

Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in daycare, childcare, or school settings
- Great organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to complete tasks autonomously
- Classroom management skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- First aid certification is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
