Our dedicated medication technicians and caregivers provide round-the-clock assistance, ensuring dignified care in a warm environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication accurately and document meticulously.
  • Monitor and report resident responses and unexpected reactions.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and advocate for residents.
  • Maintain residents' dignity and safety, promptly reporting changes.
  • Assist with daily medications, treatments, and resident care as assigned.
  • Communicate openly with team members and attend staff meetings regularly.
  • Coordinate medication services with pharmacy and physician(s).
  • Participate in narcotic counts and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Assist caregivers and assume responsibilities when needed including: (1) Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs, ensuring their dignity and safety, (2) Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and transportation, (3) Perform safety checks, offer medication reminders, and encourage participation in activities, (4) Chart and document resident information, reporting any changes promptly, (5) Respond to resident alerts and emergencies as needed, (6) Ensure resident safety and comfort during drills and daily activities, (7) Display professionalism, positivity, and teamwork, and (8) Maintain a friendly and tactful demeanor with residents, families, and guests.

Requirements:

  • Min 1 Year of Professional Experience
  • Current certification in Medication Administration
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must attend mandatory in-services and work weekends and holidays.
  • Over the age of 18
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Salary Range:

  • $19-$21 for experienced and certified Medication Technicians

Shifts Available:

Full Time:

  • Days- 7am-3:30pm
  • Evenings- 3pm-11:30pm
  • Overnights 11pm-7:30am
  • All full-time shifts require a minimum of one weekend day.
