We're looking for a Lead Technician to join our team in Gray Court, SC!

What you can look forward to as a Test Bench Lead Technician:

  • Expert in maintaining and repairing production machinery and equipment.
  • Approve daily assigned work with planners/production and prepare materials needed and equipment required.
  • Oversee Predictive Maintenance (PM) to maintain safety and increase uptime of equipment.
  • Determine spare parts requirements and make recommendations for equipment/process improvements.
  • Lead with directions and instructions from supervision and perform other task responsibilities that may be assigned.
  • Lead with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company, state and federal government agencies.
  • Lead to documentation process/procedures in MOS (maintenance operating system) in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Provide accurate information and feedback to planners/supervisors on assigned jobs.
  • Identify machine/process component parts utilizing OEM Service Drawings, catalogs, SAP, and visual recognition.
  • Fabricate and repair machine component parts in the Maintenance Campus Area / Machine Shop.
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns.
  • Evaluate and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems and components.
  • Utilize Controller/HMI Functions to Retrieve Error Messages to aid in job functions.
  • Become familiar with all oils, coolants and greases associated with the equipment.
  • Manage and contribute in a team environment by working with all levels of employees and coworkers.
  • Perform all required duties, documentation and communication within shift overlap procedures.
  • Create to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 5S standards.
  • Operate equipment within all specifications in assigned work area.
  • Create and comply with IATF - 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.
  • Improves and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.

    Your Profile as a Test Bench Lead Technician:

    • Associate Degree
    • 6 years of progressive experience in maintenance.
    • Proven experience in leading and directing other product technicians.
    • Proven problem-solving skills.
    • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Experience with reading blueprints. Experience in machining components with high tolerances.
    • Basic math and reading skills.
    • Demonstrated experience and expertise on basic construction of related equipment preferred.
    • Demonstrate expertise to troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and calibrate, machine drive and feedback systems preferred.
    • Ability to interact with customers or suppliers and responsible for training on-site technicians preferred.
    • Must be available to work 2nd shift (3-11:30 PM) and rotating weekends.
