About the Team: The Production Process Expert – IT Security will be part of the global industrial automation team which develops, commissions, and maintains the production controls standard. The IT security role identifies, evaluates, and fights IT security risks for our global production plants. The focus is on shopfloor IT to ensure smooth, disturbance-free production, and close contact with the IT and production departments in the plants and central functions.

What you can look forward to as a Production Process Expert - IT Security:

• Identifying of production IT security needs and development of appropriate processes, methods, and tools for a global network of assembly plants and cross-function locations to protect complex manufacturing processes and data.
• Working in a matrix environment in coordination with disciplinary and functional leadership to fulfill global objectives with regard to IT security concepts for production systems, equipment, applications, and networks.
• Training of employees in the plants and the cross-functional teams (virtually and on-site).
• Consulting and hands-on support locally at the production sites, e.g. whitelisting, patch management, backup & recovery, remote support, and task force activities in case of security threats.
• Collaborating in acquisition and industrialization projects to implement production IT network security provisions/firewalls.
• Planning and execution of assessments/audits, agree to-do lists, as well as implementation tracking.
• Developing working relationships with internal and external business partners.

• Ability/willingness to travel both domestically and internationally (up to 50%)

Your profile as a Production Process Expert - IT Security:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science and/or practical experience in the mentioned tasks
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: production IT infrastructure, IT security, IT networking/firewall, industrial engineering
• Knowledge of IT security mechanisms, machine control, industrial networks/bus technologies, and technical interface between IT and operations, as well as current security and safety regulations
• Proven analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills as well as a hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and direct the work of others
• Strong experience in MS Office
