Head of Application and Development

Reporting to the Senior IT Business Operations Manager, the Head of Application and Development will play a critical part in the development of the new IT Infrastructure within the ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules joint venture.

What you can look forward to as the Head of Application and Development:

• Coordinates a multidisciplinary team that targets the design, programming and implementation of functional applications in accordance with the processes defined by the company and its global standards.
• Ensure innovation based on implementation of new technologies modified to business specific requirements and IT strategy.
• Establish effective and efficient processes to deliver projects and services according to the IT strategy, business requirements and agreed service levels, leveraging global structures and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain ecosystem with strategic partners for software and services in area of responsibility, apply cloud-based solutions where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance in area of responsibility, especially concerning license management and/or software compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement processes and projects.
• Manage projects and track service levels for IT products.
• Strong alignment to process management to support and drive business process changes.
• Perform budget and resource planning.

You profile as the Head of Application and Development:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Administration, or a combination of education and experience
• 5 years of relevant working experience in application development, computer sciences or another similar field.
• Proven managerial and leadership experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and an ability to communicate with clarity and conciseness.
• An ability to think analytically and act strategically.
• Experience working within a multicultural organization.
• Must be willing to travel (10-20%) to other ZF Foxconn locations globally.
