Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a 1-5 year litigation associate to join their growing practice in Ft. Lauderdale. This firm is a leading labor and employment boutique that offers an incredible work environment and has a strong commitment to Diversity & Inclusion. Attorneys have the ability to work with clients in multiple industries and play an integral role in litigation matters. Ideal candidates will be able to manage a case from start to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and respond to pleadings
• Manage discovery
• Draft and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediation and trial

Requirements:

• 1-5 years litigation experience (ideally in employment law)
• Wage & Hour experience a plus
• JD from an accredited law school with stellar academic credentials
• Admitted and in good standing admission with Florida Bar
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Self starter who thrives in an independent environment and also as part of team
