Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for nearly 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. We are lhiring a full time Youth Day Treatment Therapist. The Youth Day Treatment Therapist provides diagnostic assessments and day treatment services including individual and group psychotherapy to children and youth. Provides these services within the context of the goals identified on the client's Individualized Service Plan. The person in this position provides services in the context of a day treatment program, which is primarily high intensity group-based counseling.

• Conducts intake/diagnostic assessments and updates for children and youth, as needed. Establish medical necessity for the level of care, as needed.
• Provides individual, family, and/or group counseling of children and youth clients with SED diagnosis.
• May assist with care coordination needs of clients, such as transportation, linkage to resources, etc. in specific situations until the client's care coordinating staff can be accessed.
• Develops, revises, implements, and monitors the Individual Service Plans, in cooperation with the client, family, and treatment team participants that addresses the client's needs.
• Monitors treatment effectiveness and provides ongoing assessment by utilizing identified outcome measurements and clinical assessments as presented in agency policies and protocols.
• Facilitates referrals to appropriate internal and/or external resources when indicated.
• When needed, ensures the development of Individual Client Crisis Plans that promote client growth and future safety. Ensures linkage to appropriate treatment providers.
• Maintains clinical records and reports according to agency standards.
• Maintains direct service productivity per agency standards.
• Maintains required documentation per agency standards. When applicable, obtains supervisor's signature on required clinical documents.

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or Social Work required
• Active License to practice as a counselor (LPC, LPCC) or social worker (LSW, LISW)
• Experience in providing high intensity day treatment services to children/youth desired
• Must not have a criminal record that would exclude you from working in a child-serving environment

Those eligible to drive company vehicles must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage as defined by the agency commercial insurance carrier.Those who drive personal vehicles in the course of business must be able to provide proof of insurance.
