Description
Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for nearly 50 years. We are the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.
We are currently seeking a contingent CSU Mental Health Technician to provide support for personal care activities, social and leisure activities, and orientation to clients on the CSU as well as responds to crisis calls in a competent, professional, and courteous manner. CSU stands for Crisis Stabilization Unit. Crisis Stabilization Units (CSU) are small inpatient facilities of less than 16 beds for people in a mental health crisis whose needs cannot be met safely in residential service settings. CSUs may be designed to admit on a voluntary or involuntary basis when the person needs a safe, secure environment less restrictive than a hospital. CSUs try to stabilize the person and get them back into the community quickly. This position will be for a CSU for individuals 18 years of age or older.
