Job Title: Social Worker
Job Location: Apple Valley, CA
Shift Timings: Day shift
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Duties:

• Assisting directors of services in administering methadone and/or buprenorphine treatment services as prescribed by the physician that oversees the patient’s treatment.
• Assisting clients through initial client assessments, drug tests, medical clearance documents, and tuition classes.
• Assisting clients with maintaining original documents which include patient charts, prescriptions issued, biannual physical examinations, and most recent annual mental health assessment.
• Conducting initial client interviews which include description of history, physical and emotional symptoms, diagnosis, and current diagnosis with the patient and patient’s family or other family members aware of their client’s treatment experience.
• Assisting clients, biannual physical exams, and most recent annual physical and mental health assessments. Scheduling appointments, conducting sessions, and providing counseling services via phone or in person throughout the course of treatment.
• Providing counseling services to any remaining family members including brothers sisters, friends, or other individuals in their homes.
• Maintaining proper documentation - patient charts, most recent physical exam, current mental health documentation, etc.

Requirements:

• MSW License for the state of CA
• 1 year of experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
