Position: Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technician

Job Location: Everett, WA 98201

Shift:- Day 3x12-Hour (10:00 - 22:30)

Pay rate :$70 to $75/hr

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 years
• Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers.
• Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
• Skills: BLS, ARRT, WA State Licensure required.
• Certs: BCLS, NIH

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:6
• Contract Length: Accepting 13 weeks!
• Hours: *40 Hours Can be Offered
• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed!
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required!

Job Responsibility :

• Perform MRI scans on patients referred from cardiology and radiology departments, following established protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to obtain diagnostic images tailored to specific clinical questions and indications.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
• Monitor patients during scans, observing for any adverse reactions and responding promptly to emergencies or medical incidents.
• Assist in the administration of contrast agents for enhanced MRI imaging, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including exam documentation, image files, and patient history information.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety standards related to MRI operations, including radiation safety and magnetic field hazards.
