Position: Radiology/Cardiology Electrophysiology (EP) Technician
Job Location: Everett, WA 98201
Shift:- Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

Pay rate :$75 to $80/hr

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years
• Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers.
• Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
• Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias
• Certs: BCLS, NIH

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS or RCES is required (One tech certification is required)

• Contract Length: Accepting 13 weeks!
• Hours: *40 Hours Can be Offered
• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed!
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required!

Job Responsibility :

• Prepare and maintain the electrophysiology laboratory for procedures, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and operational.
• Assist electrophysiologists and other healthcare providers during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures, including cardiac mapping, radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker implantation, and defibrillator implantation.
• Operate and monitor specialized electrophysiology equipment, such as mapping systems and ablation generators, to visualize and manipulate cardiac arrhythmias.
• Perform electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring and analysis during procedures, identifying and documenting arrhythmias and other cardiac abnormalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, including monitoring vital signs and administering sedation or anesthesia as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and inventory of EP lab supplies.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety standards, including radiation protection measures and infection control practices.
