Elementary and Middle School Instructional Aide

Are you wanting experience in an early childhood center?

We are looking for short-term, long term part-time, and full-time Teaching Assistants to work with early years education, preschools, and daycares.

Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to childrens educational journey and their communities. Teaching Assistants will support licensed teachers in the classroom and gain invaluable experience.

Key Duties:

• Assisting the classroom teacher
• Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
• Assist in compiling classroom communications
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or the equivalent AND
• Two years of college (48 units), or
• A. A. degree (or higher), or
• Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or higher
• ParaPro Certification or similar
• Past work experience in a school
• Experience working with children with special educational needs

Additional Requirements:

• Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
• Applicants must have proficiency in English

Pay:

• Teacher Assistants pay will reflect qualifications and experience level.
