We are hiring building substitute teachers in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.

Zen Educate is looking for certified substitute teachers who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children’s lives and their community.

Building substitutes support across the same school and work with multiple classrooms. This is a great opportunity to build experience and gain exposure to a broad range of teaching styles and behavior management principles while building relationships are the same school and having some stability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the school where needed
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Assign lessons and follow the classroom teacher’s lesson plans
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements :

• MN Teaching License. Eg : Short Call Substitute Teaching License or higher
• Out of state teaching license may be considered
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred Requirements :

• Master's Degree
• Accredited Teacher Preparation Program

Additional Requirements :

• Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
• Applicants must have proficiency in English
