JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of the design of Zeeco's custom built equipment, including process and structural design.

JOB DUTIES:

Provides engineering support to the Project Execution group. This includes reviewing the Turn Over Packages and the detailed customer specifications for each project.

Check drawings to ensure the design standards are followed.

Sets design standards and limits for projects.

Performs a final review of the designs before releasing the designs to the shop for production.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have personal computer skills.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess sufficient interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company. Must have the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations related to job requirements. Must be able to work under stress. Must be able to handle multiple priorities. Must be able to process paperwork effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to do unaccompanied travel. Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to work overtime if required. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
