We fight hard to do what is right and just and restore as much dignity to the lives of our clients, including taking cases to trial if necessary. Our focus is personal injury, medical malpractice and civil rights cases. We are licensed in NM, AZ and CO and are planning to open an office in Tucson, AZ. We practice in state and federal court and an occasional appeal.

We're looking for a Paralegal to support our team of experienced attorneys. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented and have a passion for learning. The Paralegal will be working directly with attorneys to research case law and prepare for trials, as well as working on a variety of administrative tasks in order to create more time for legal research. Applicants with previous experience working in the judicial system would be preferred. Medical background, customer relations and Spanish are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the legal staff by performing a variety of clerical duties and tasks.
- Process documents and records, such as filing and copying.
- Examine legal documents to ensure accuracy.
- Draft pleadings and file with courts.
- Interact with clients and attorneys.
- Set up depositions and communicate with other law firms and court reporters.
- Maintain calendar for attorney, manage deadlines and plan accordingly to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
