We need a core DATACENTER Tech resource who knows hardware, racking & stacking, cabling. Experience with servers and storage devices.
Will assist with performing all aspects of data center work including equipment deployment and recovery, cabling and cable dressing, data entry into our DCIM tool, deploying IP PDU's and monitoring in our DCIM tool, and shipping functions in support of the data center and network team and assisting the network and infrastructure team with other tasks..

Candidates should have experience with the following:
Servers, Switches, Routers, Hubs, Wintel, Linux and UNIX.
Detailed JD:
1) Racking, stacking and cabling of network devices, servers and blades
2) Break fix Replacement of faulty parts like power supplies, switch modules, replacement of blades in chassis.
3) Able to recognize different kinds of cables, connectors, SFPs etc.
4) Understanding of cabling and power requirements and their best practices
5) Minimum of 3 years on-Prem data center experience supporting the Data Center equipment and/or infrastructure (Power, Space, Cooling, Equipment)
6) Experience with consoles, KVM, Remote Site gateways etc.
7) Prepare data center inventory
8) Ability to create data center diagrams will be a bonus
9) Must be able to lift 50 pounds
