Summary: To deliver prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests in hotel rooms, while adhering to Hotel ZaZa Food and Beverage quality service and operating standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Functions:

• Follow Hotel ZaZa service and operating standards for food and beverage service to guests.
• Monitor all tray and tale set ups. Linen, china and silver must be spotless. Food and beverage must be properly garnished and fresh looking. Warm food must be kept warm, cold beverages must be served adequately chilled.
• Make all room service deliveries according to Hotel ZaZa operating time standards, and uniform grooming guidelines.
• Retrieval of trays and tables must be made after delivery or upon guest request according to Hotel ZaZa operating time standards.
• Perform assigned prep work at beginning of shift, as well as side work at end of shift.
• Check tray set-ups and timing of deliveries. Determine action to be taken if orders are behind time in delivery, whether to begin helping in the set up of trays, calling for another outlet for additional help, or advising manager of problems delaying service.
• Follow bussing procedures to ensure trays are picked up from guest rooms and corridors.
• Maintain an adequate supply of both equipment and food items to ensure speed and quality of service.
• Maintain adequately stocked liquor back-up cabinet (if applicable).
• Maintain good working relationship with other departments and outlets.
• Offer help to other outlets and departments when available or needed.
• Follow all proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.
• Be familiar with and adhere to all liquor laws.
• Attend department meetings.
• Adhere to grooming guidelines wear Z-pins, proper uniform standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Cross training in other departments as directed by manager.

Tools and Equipment:

• Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, dish machine, kitchen equipment.
• POS, copy machine, basic computer skills.

Working Environment:

• Interior and exterior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen, swimming pool area and guestroom.
• Exposure to hazardous cleaning chemicals, extreme temperatures, and various food and beverage items that may be allergens.
