We generate fair, unbiased damage assessments for insurance professionals to help settle claims quickly and accurately. Our nationwide network of skilled technicians evaluates electronics, appliances, and HVAC equipment, both consumer and commercial.

The Technician Support Associate will work closely with the Scheduling Team and our nationwide network of technicians to assist in scheduling on-site appointments for electronics, appliances, and HVAC assessments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create technician work orders using company platforms
• Review technicians’ work orders for completeness
• Assist Scheduling Team with coordinating appointments and dispatching technicians
• Offer support to technicians in the field to ensure assessments are completed accurately and on-time
• Assist scheduling department with nationwide talent acquisition
• Other responsibilities to assist department, as needed

Requirements:

• Relevant work experience not required, but beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and friendly demeanor over the phone
• Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while remaining calm under pressure
• Ability to relay company mission and expectations to prospective technicians

Remote Requirements:

• This is a remote work-from-home position. Zap Consulting’s headquarters is located in South Charlotte, NC and it is required that employees live within commuting distance to the office as in-person meetings may be scheduled during the duration of employment.
• A home office or quiet remote work area with zero distractions is required.
• Company laptop will be provided.
• Zap Consulting’s work from home policy requires a minimum download speed of 10 MB/s (preferred download speed of 25 MB/s). You can test your download speeds at www.speedtest.net.

This position is temporary with the possibility of permanent hire. This temporary position is expected to last from Late April-October 2024.
