Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Compounding Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into the computer system
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or equivalent experience
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of drug names, dosages, and routes of administration
- Experience with IV infusion and aseptic technique is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
