RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in coordinating and providing comprehensive training within various PL categories for all new hires and provide continuous education to existing employees with an emphasis on quality.
  • Ensure availability to provide live, hands-on support to agents for any questions or assistance they require to overcome challenges and roadblocks.
  • Own and administer the organizational duties on all company insurance management systems.
  • Understand and support the KPI’s/metrics within the department, producing reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to the leadership team.
  • Maintains and ensures proper and accurate documentation, ie training records, materials, checklists.
  • Lead workshops on various topics, such as – new workflows, programs, and refresher courses.
  • Learn new software programs, workflows, and develop training material as required.
  • Collaborate with new/existing employees, team leaders, various departments, and the leadership team.
  • Effectively communicate the regulatory aspect of insurance and billing information to agents, policy holders and third parties, in a cohesive manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong computer skills, with the ability to type 45 wpm, proficiency in MS Office, and basic knowledge of insurance management systems and ticketing systems.

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast pace working environment.
  • Must have the “Heart of a Teacher”.
  • Must be detailed oriented and process driven.
  • Must be flexible, willing, and able to come in office any day of the week.
  • Must have a proven track record of good attendance and performance.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Property and Casualty license
  • Must have 2 years of Property & Casualty experience, having developed a deep understanding of insurance quoting tasks.
  • 1 year of experience specifically with EZLynx and working knowledge of at least 1 of the management systems below:
    • Salesforce
    • Noble
    • Applied/Applied Epic
    • AMS 360
  • 1 year of experience of having quoted with at least 4 of the following carriers:
    • Safeco
    • Travelers
    • Progressive
    • Auto Owners
    • Grange
    • State Auto
  • 2 years working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and deadline-oriented environment:
    • Building customer engagement
  • Experience with delivering results based on metrics.
  • Demonstrated experience in the following:
    • Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring adaption and flexibility
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • This position requires up to 80% work in office.

  • · Sit & stand for extended periods of time up to 7 hours per day;
  • · Must be able to walk up and down stairs (there are no elevators in the 2-story main office
  • Building);
  • · Physical, consistent attendance during normal working hours within a standard 40-hour workweek, during the shift required for this position, as many of the job duties are time sensitive and most effectively and efficiently resolved only through required immediate communication; additional hours may be required;
  • · The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
