General Responsibilities

Conference Management: Work with the Events Director to manage at least nine trade shows per year. Communicate with vendors to secure booth space, process registrations, generate name badges, develop exhibitor and sponsorship packets, answer questions and be the general point of contact for these events. Responsible for attending all board meetings and pre-conference meetings for assigned events. Attend these conferences each year to provide on-site management and build relationships.

Magazine: In addition to meeting planning, this person will provide editorial support to our monthly magazine including proof-reading, lead generation, and mailing list management.

Required Skills

• Computer Literate including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, with specific experience in Access, Word and Excel.
• Multi-tasker and detail oriented. Must be able to handle several projects at once, not confusing the minutiae in each task.
• Customer service focus and polite personality. Ability to work in a team environment and accomplish tasks alone.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and present solutions.
• Self-starter and ability to work well and accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
• Regional travel with some overnights required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $38,000.00 per year
