Piper Companies is looking for a Principal Investigator, Immunology in Philadelphia, PA to work for an innovative and growing biotherapeutics company. The Principal Investigator of Immunology will play a significant role in the identification and characterization of novel Centyrin-based therapeutics. This role will be ~50% in the lab.
Responsibilities include:
Act with leadership of drug discovery efforts contributing to drug development pipelines in immunology
develop and use state-of-the-art immunology tools (incl but not limited to cell-based reporter systems, flow cytometry, imaging, various antigen specific assays including MLR and others) to identify and validate novel drugs candidates in primary human and/or mouse immune cells and cell lines
Perform laboratory testing utilizing skills in standard molecular biology techniques (i.e. Western blot analyses, ELISAs, quantitative PCR, etc);
Qualifications include:
A minimum of 4 years' experience within immunology
Strong technical background with flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR, Western Blot and other laboratory techniques

• Flow cytometry exp -critical. ( ~10 colors)

PhD in Immunology or related field required
Compensation for the Principal Investigator of Immunology include:
Salary range is up to $150,000 dependent upon experience
