Job Details
Responsibilities of the Lead Performance Engineer include:
- Analyze performance problems in complex applications and suggest remediation strategies.
- Work with development teams on architecting and developing large-scale performance testing projects, overseeing their implementation and remediating performance issues
- Define, develop, execute performance/load tests and integrate them with automated test systems (web client/server)
- Strong background in performance testing and engineering of large scale web applications
- Minimum of 5 years using automated test tools for functional and or performance stability, scalability, and reliability LoadRunner, WebTest, JMeter, Watir, FIT, FitNesse, Ruby or others
- 5 years of SQL experience with ability to write complex SQL code
- BS degree is highly preferred
- ship is required for the role due to the nature of the work
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000 ** depending on experience**
