Job Description:
Company is seeking an experienced, full-time Sheet Metal Foreman in Essex Junction, VT to join our growing Install/Construction team.

This individual will be responsible for the installation of duct work and other associated HVAC systems. The Sheet Metal Foreman will also be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of field installation and production with the highest degree of quality, in the safest and most cost effective manner.

Reports to:
Construction Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Sheet Metal Foreman will be responsible for performing installations, routine maintenance, and inspections associated with HVAC systems. The Sheet Metal Foreman is also responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily activities of field installation and production.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functions necessary to run the field portion of sheet metal jobs.
• Keep open communication with the General Contractor on the job and Project Manager.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Coordinate and order sheet metal materials for the project.
• Maintain a crew and assign daily tasks.
• Request and maintain submittals from Project Manager.
• Perform As-builts following completion of the job.
• Create RFI’s as needed for the job.
• Maintain daily logs up to date and request signatures for any extra work/change orders.
• Communicate with Project Manager on progress of job.
• Responsible for keeping sheet metal on schedule for the job.
• Communicate when additional manpower is needed.
• Communicate with the Project Manager when the project is ready for Start-up and Balancing.
• Oversee use of PPE equipment on job as required.
• Maintain Company Vehicle.

Experience:
5-10 years of experience in Mechanical/HVAC trade
Qualifications:Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the assigned field team on track.

environment.
Ability to work individually or cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.

License/Certification:
Driver’s License required
Working Conditions:
Job requires the ability to work both inside and in the elements at any given time.
Job requires the ability to work off ladders, and any style of lift.
May be required to travel beyond the local Essex Branch region with additional offices located in Rutland, VT, West Lebanon & Bow, NH. A company vehicle will be provided.
Flexible nature to manage changing priorities.

Security Clearance is not generally applicable but may be required for some customer sites. A
background verification will be required.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
