What is the day to day like for Mechanical Technicians

  • Use drawings to build equipment such as hydraulic cylinders, valves, and other mechanical assemblies
  • Work with precise equipment and high-precision components
  • Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and use detailed drawings. Work side-by-side with highly skilled machining experts
  • Further develop and refine your precision-cutting expertise

What You Need To Be Qualified For This Job

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service
  • Deliver quality and value in your work
  • Willingness to learn and develop into a highly skilled individual with a valued craft
  • Client Technicians troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, understand tolerances and classes of fit, read engineer drawings (detail and assembly)
  • Ability to understand proper assembly and disassembly procedures
  • A professional with the ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Associate degree, 2 years of experience in the machining field or a related area such as machine building or maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
