Non-exempt, Full-time 40 hours per week

How does this position make an impact on the community? The Family Housing Center team provides support through short-term emergency shelter in the Missoula Family Housing Center, case management and rental assistance for unhoused families to find and maintain safe, stable housing and achieve self-sufficiency.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

  • Works with residents to develop service plans, set goals and implement strategies to meet identified goals.
  • Ability to engage with children and offer parenting resources and support as needed.
  • Provides trauma-informed and survivor-focused advocacy to residents in the Family Housing Center.

Some of what you’ll do in this position:

  • Coordinates and completes intakes with participants, including orientation and explanation of policies.
  • Maintains a caseload of approximately 10-15 residents, providing intensive case management to all residents.
  • Provides 6-months of robust follow-up services to families that have exited the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 years case management experience (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in human services field, or equivalent work experience in a non-profit human services field. (preferred but not required)

What else you should know: This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. The base wage for this position starts at $20/hour – higher wage would be based on experience calculated using YWCA Missoula’s wage matrix.
