Love the water? Love seeing kids improve their skills? Looking for an aquatic enthusiast to teach water safety and instruction for private and group lessons as well as Lifeguard and Lead on Deck for the great programs in the warm pools of the YWCA!!

The person(s) selected for this position is responsible for conducting high quality swim instruction and safe aquatics programming. This person is responsible for continuous high-quality customer service by motivating and effectively communicating with members, parents, family and students, and presenting a positive attitude toward the YWCA, its staff, and its programs creating a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
• Must have excellent oral communication skills and patience to work positively with different populations, in groups and individually
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds using proper technique

Must be able to work in wet, humid conditions frequently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
