Family Center Child Care Provider

$15 per hour. The YWCA seeks individuals for part-time position providing childcare for children aged infant through 11 years while their parents participate in YWCA English Class or parenting programs. Duties include greeting parents and children; ensuring a safe, caring childcare environment; facilitating fun, engaging activities. Hours of coverage needed are Monday and Wednesday late afternoon to mid-evening. Approximately 4-6 hours per week. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED; knowledge of child development and care; experience working with children ages infant to 11; ability to relate effectively and positively with children, parents and YWCA staff; ability to regularly bend, stoop, pick up and lift babies and toddlers. Must pass criminal and child abuse background checks.
