Overview

Position Summary :

The Hub Internship position at Yusen Logistics is a role that assists with providing prompt and accurate operations Origin Cargo and Vendor Management to customers performing various operational and origin services as specified in the service agreement, customer procedures or Company’s guidelines on a daily basis.

1- To ensure that all documentation requirements are fulfilled based on the Customer’s PO and SOP in addition to performing system updates to provide the client with full visibility of their shipments in YLA intergrated systems.

2- To monitor Inbound / Destination cargo, responsible for ensuring that full contianers are delivered to the customers distribution center and that the empty containers are returned to the Port / Rail facilities before accruing demurrage / detention charges.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming and time sensitive e-mails for Origin abd Destination shipments
• Generate daily reports to examine terminal data for cargo delivery status
• Assist in maintaing desk procedures and current SOP’s for various OCM accounts.
• Work ASSR Reports to ensure timely deliver of VIP Destination customer cargo
• Verify vendor document uploads for customs clearance at destination.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Eligible candidates must be active degree-seeking students who are enrolled in a relevant degree program (Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, , and within 12-months of graduation.
