Overview

The SWAT Operations Support Analyst is a multi-faceted role with focus on projects requiring immediate response and a supporting responsibility towards driving Quality & Kaizen initiatives. The Analyst would be deployed onsite or assigned to projects such as optimizing warehouse space, assisting with new facility start-ups, or addressing non-compliance issues, etc.. This role requires skills such as the ability to facilitate multi-departmental collaboration, map out and analyze operational processes, and identify improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and map out operational processes through process mapping, job aids, or value stream maps.
• Execute process improvements using lean and six sigma methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to incentivize, motivate, and engage staff to participate in making operational improvements.
• Provide Analysis and costing options for specific CLG Division facility projects, start-ups, peak season requirements.
• Gather data and information from a variety of sources, as well as present data effectively within a presentation and meeting format.
• Exhibit reasoning ability through solving practical problems and working independently, as well as interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Train audiences on processes in multiple areas of operation
• Drive progress in quality program across operational accounts.
• Encourage Kaizen activity across operational accounts.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

· A Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree (with related business experience) within Accounting, Business, Logistics, or related field of study together with 2 years’ work experience in Operations, Administration, or related Logistics position.

· Language Skills: Good verbal communication and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization. Should have the ability to gather data and information from a variety of sources, as well as present data effectively within a presentation and meeting format.

· Computer Skills: Must have working knowledge of Windows Office Suite and high proficiency with personal computer spreadsheets (Excel) is required. Experience working with JDE and ability to analyze and provide expense analysis is required.

· Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and work independently. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
