Overview

Salary:

$26.00 per hour 

• Communiate with Contracted Security team.
• Assist to assure the safety and protection of Yusen property and personnel.
• Assist in maintaining accurate CTPAT records.
• Assist in maintaining the Yusen’s Loss Prevention program.
• Have good communication with all departments.
• Support the Loss Prevention Manager on incidents.
• Assist guards in parking procedures and violations
• Review video surveillance and report findings to the Regional LP Manager.
• Be an active member of the safety committed.
• Support the Environmental and Safety Department through representation of examplory behavior related to policies and procedures of the company policies and culture.

Responsibilities

• The Security coordinator must possess certain traits, such as flexibility, assertiveness. approachability with a professional attitude.
• Able to handle and manage high stress situations in appropriate professional manner.
• Team spirit and collaboration is crucial.
• Skills required for this position include high skill levels of professional communication, leadership and organization. Math and computer skills are essential for many of the tasks required of a security project manager.
• Knowledgeable of supply chain systems and processes.
• Flexible schedule to support all shifts as required.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Relaible form of transportation, this job will require to drive to nearby facilities.
• CTPAT knowledge is desired.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, clients and staff at every level.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and or GED
• Minimum years’ experience 3 -5 Years experience.
• Type of work experience : In transportation and/or Logistics field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
