FACULTY - Family Medicine Residency

Position Summary

This is a hospital employed family medicine faculty position within our residency program’s family medicine center. You would be a welcomed addition to our team of senior faculty members. This full-time position would include ~ 40% direct patient care and 60% faculty responsibilities (precepting in the office/hospital setting and administrative time).

About Our Program

• Accredited Family Medicine Residency Program that began in July 2013. Our unique, 3-year program has been granted the highest level of accreditation a residency program can achieve by the ACGME.
• Twenty Four (24) residents are currently in the program; 8 per class per year. Plans to expand to thirty-six (36) FM residents total.
• Sports Medicine Fellowship Program began July 2020 and recently graduated its second fellow in June.
• Embarking on a new Psychiatry Residency with our first four (4) residents to start July 1, 2024.
• Affiliation and academic support from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Midwestern University and Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale.
• YRMC is fully engaged as a clinical partner in the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board eligible.
• Minimum of 3 years practice experience preferred; however, new grads are eligible to apply.
