The Director Med/Surg (Inpatient Stroke) is accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the department in order to meet the needs of the organization. This individual provides leadership and expertise in the management of the department and has accountability for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the Purpose, Pillars and strategic objectives of YRMC.

· Human Resources Management: develops others through setting clear expectations, mentoring and coaching, and empowering accountability for results
