Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing a variety of coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and work area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies
- Follow food safety guidelines when handling and preparing food items
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and addressing any questions or concerns
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee beans is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations is beneficial
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Strong math skills for cash handling and calculating orders accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
