YSI is seeking a highly qualified Prog Analyst PowerBI/GIS. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

*Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through VDOT’s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking

Work with the data science team to build the visualization applications using ArcGIS and PowerBI platforms and build internal applications using the PowerApps/Powerautomate platform

Core responsibilities.

· Gain broad understanding of the VDOT innovation framework.

· Use the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS.

· Follow all applicable industry and VDOT standards, processes, and Protocols.

· Engage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needs.

· Manage stakeholder communications and expectations>

KSA:

• Process mapping experience,
• Code Documentation,
• Writing Requirements/Scope documents,

• Minimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high-level compiled language such as C#, C , Java
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with scripting languages such as javascript and Python
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience using RESTFul APIS
• Other Software Knowledge: Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Datalakes, and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences

Pay: $70,349.53 - $84,722.02 per year
