Job Title: Cloud System Administrator/ Windows Admin/Linux Admin

Location: Arlington, VA/Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite, 2 remote

YSI is seeking a highly qualified Cloud System Administrator. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.

Functional Responsibilities:

· The Cloud/SSO Admin plans, conducts, and/or contributes to research and design activities.

• Provisioning and Configuration: responsible for setting up and configuring virtual machines (VMs), instances, and other cloud resources on Linux and Windows platforms according to the organization's requirements.

· Applies technical and/or analytical approaches to solve client issues and experience in technical tasks such as system administration, architecture, configuration, design and administration, ERP application implementation, organizational change management and communication, development of training documentation, configuration, and customization, or similar activities. Contributes to research and design activities.

· Maintenance and Management: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updating, and monitoring the operating systems and software running on cloud instances to ensure optimal performance and security.

· Maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure, including both on-premises and cloud-based systems.

· Provision, configure, and optimize virtual machines and cloud resources.

· Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.

· Monitor system performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

· Collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Minimum Education/Experience:

· Active Secret Security Clearance*

· Experience in administering Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory and group policy.

· Self-started and self-motivated to learn new technologies.

· Demonstrated knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve system issues.

· Windows desktops (Windows 10)

· Windows server 2016, 2019 installation and maintenance

· Systems deployment, administration, performance tuning, and monitoring

· Experience with HP server and storage hardware

· Experience with VMware VSphere, (ESXi, vCenter, etc)

· Experience with Storage u2013 HP MSA, RAID configuration

· Experience with Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.

· Critical thinking u2013 ability to solve technical problems independently and with collaborative teams.

· Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities (e.g. Antivirus, Ivanti)

· Active CompTIA Security Certification

BA/BS Degree: In one of the following fields of study: Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum Experience: 5 years consulting or industry experience

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
