The Dietary Aide provides assistance as directed in dietary functions and activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Food preparation and tray service
• Monitors residents during meal times and assists residents with meals as needed.
• Transports meals up to resident rooms using meal carts.
• Follows through on Cafeteria/dining room clean-up and organization.
• Washes and dries all dishes as needed and puts them away in proper storage.
• Cleans kitchen, and sweeps/mops kitchen floors after shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education:

• High School Diploma or its equivalency. Must have the ability to read, speak, write, and follow simple oral and written directions.
