Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of experience in building and maintenance repair or Industrial Mechanical degree.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on equipment; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, repair or replace broken parts.
• Read maintenance manuals and equipment schematics.
• Skilled in the use of hand, power tools, tape measures, multimeters
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read maintenance manuals and equipment schematics.
• Performs minor and major repair of all equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, repair or replace broken parts.
• Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems.
• Operate Electric Pallet Jack
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• May operate computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
• Installs electrical wiring to equipment and control circuits; replace faulty electrical switches; repairs refrigeration equipment.
• Knowledgeable regarding 3 phase power wiring
• Ability to troubleshoot low voltage control circuits and PLCs
• May install CAT 5 cable.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
• May discuss maintenance issues with vendor service technicians.
• Must be able to trouble-shoot mechanical and electrical problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
