Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and adolescents in various settings. Your role will involve assisting with educational activities, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the youth under your care.

Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children and adolescents
- Assist with educational activities and provide academic support
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Supervise and engage youth in recreational activities
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement programming
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and incidents
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding the progress of their child

Skills:
- Experience working with children or adolescents in a professional setting
- Knowledge of special education principles and techniques
- Strong classroom management skills
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and diffuse conflicts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in babysitting or childcare is a plus
- Background in sports coaching or other recreational activities is beneficial
