Youth Development Company/PAL is a 26 year old non-profit organization who provides full time and part time opportunities for youth mentoring to school age children during out of school times through homework help, physical activity, creative and fun learning opportunities. We also provide early childhood education to children from infants to 5 years old in a licensed childcare / daycare setting to build the fundamental skills for them to succeed as they embark on their educational journey.

Our out of school time programs are in Bangor, Coloma, Watervliet, Gobles and South Haven. YDC Learning Centers are providing care for young children in South Haven, Coloma, Gobles

We are hiring immediately for the following positions: All Locations

  • Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
  • Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant
  • Early Preschool Lead Teacher
  • Preschool Teacher Assistant
  • Afterschool Mentors

We are most interested in applicants that have:

  • Passion, drive, enthusiasm, and a growth mindset
  • Ability to meet state requirements for education and experience
  • Willingness to obtain state required credential (We pay for it!)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education or related field
  • Experience leading and creating activity or lesson plans
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare or daycare facility
  • Experience working in a school setting

Wages listed are starting rates. Experience increases starting wages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
