We are seeking a compassionate, professional individual that enjoys taking care of patients Home Health orders over the phone. We are seeking a Home Health Specialist to manager all incoming Home Health certification/order needs for all our patients in the Grandstrand area.

This is a salary position. Full-time Schedule: 8am-5pm (Monday-Friday).

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, and/or eliminate function(s)

• Answer incoming calls and transfer to proper personnel or take a message.
• Communication with providers to ensure all necessary information has been sent to Home Health partners.
• Create patient cases and send to appropriate place.
• Managing Home Health emails
• Managing Faxes
• Following up on all Home Health needs
• Must be available during normal work hours (unless previously approved by direct supervisor). Additional hours may be required to complete normal business functions and/or projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with managing home health certification and orders.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Should demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
