Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Youngstown Tool & Die Company, LLC. is dedicated to producing custom designed aluminum extrusion dies that meet strict quality requirements. Our high-performance output, coupled with our drive to meet strict customer standards, has created the need to grow our Shipping and Receiving Department. We are actively seeking to add to our rapidly developing workforce with self-motivated individuals that have a passion to learn new skillsets and be a part of a team!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Preparing shipments while maintaining accuracy of inventory.

· Matching part numbers with purchase orders.

· Maintaining quality standards to eliminate defects prior to shipment.

· Preparing crates, boxes or other shipping containers following customer specifications including stenciling, spacers or packing material.

· Maintaining a safe work area including good housekeeping.

· Receiving, signs and inspect items for delivery to location.

· Physically alerting or distributing incoming inventories to proper storage areas.

· Operating forklift as necessary to perform job safely.

Qualifications: Individuals must have working knowledge of logistics processes and be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, product part matching & packing specifications according to customer requirements. In addition, the ideal candidate must follow training & safety measures effectively.

Required: High School diploma or GED with 2 years’ work experience in Shipping/Receiving. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide in all units of measure. Must be able to read & interpret blueprints, procedure manuals & product specifications. Must be computer literate with the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to work overtime. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and the ability to be insured is a must.

Typical work week is 50-55 hours. Overtime is paid after 40 hours.
