We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician with expertise in servicing Hino and Isuzu vehicles to join our team. As a Diesel Technician at Young Truck and Trailer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks on Hino and Isuzu trucks.

Responsibilities

Diagnose - address and repair if needed - all major vehicle work

Qualifications

• A minimum 4 years experience in diesel repair
• Candidate needs to possess a high level of diagnostic capability
• Experience in engine rebuilding and diagnostics - diesel emissions and scr/dpf systems
• Candidate must possess knowledge in Class 6-8 heavy duty trucks
• Knowledge of Hino/Isuzu/Mitsubishi/ is a plus but not required
• CDK and ADP experience is a plus
• Dealership experience preferred
• ASE or certifications in Cummins/International/Caterpillar/Detroit/Paccar/ are preferred
• Additional Position Requirements - Own tools
• Valid Driver’s License (good driving record required)
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
• Successful work history with excellent attendance
