We are a midsized insurance defense firm looking to hire experienced paralegals. Applicants should be detailed and deadline-oriented. The ideal candidates for this position must be dependable and possess a professional demeanor, demonstrate an eagerness to work diligently to serve the needs of our clients. Applicant must be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Identifying, prioritizing, calendaring, monitoring, and meeting deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing for hearings, mediations, trials, and all aspects of litigation.
  • Ability to handle a large caseload, draft pleadings and demands and prepare court filings
  • Develops and maintains records regarding billable hours spent on cases.

We value a sense of urgency and critical thinking skills. Additionally, our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to type and proof lengthy legal documents
  • Excellent time and schedule management abilities
  • Strong desire to take initiative with a self-starting and efficient work ethic
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail required
  • Demonstrate superior work ethic and dependability

This position will work in the office during our business hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. We are looking for a team player that is willing to work hard to serve our clients.
