If you've clicked on this job you're probably thinking it's like every other "daycare" in the city. Young Scholars isn't, and you're not wanting to go to the normal, right? Normal is boring, we want to be the weird preschool!

We're looking to add to the team, and being really specific on the needs of the kids and the team. We have a couple of classrooms that are in need of a consistent, caring and goofy teacher. Let's get to the BASICS:

-We're looking for both teachers that are Group Lead Qualified and Assistants.

-Yes we work 40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts. Currently have a variety of shifts available based on the needs of the center, we're open from 6:00-6:00 so something in between is what we're looking for.

-Someone with a background in the education field or setting (any age level acceptable, under 5 years old preferred.)

-Must be able to pass a federal and state level background check, we do four so be prepared!

-MUST be crazy for kids, be willing to be puked on (it's not often but it could happen), peed on and able to wipe some boogers from time to time.

Let's Talk about the FUN STUFF:

In addition to being a life-changer we also have some Team Advocate positions available! Including, Mental Health Liasion, Accreditation & Training Director, Kid's Coach, Curriculum Development Coordinator, Safety Advisor and Literacy & Language Counselor.

Sometimes what pulls us to love ECE is the work we do beyond the classroom. We have created these (and have previously implemented them) with the intention on being fully intentional with kids!

Pay: $14.42 - $17.50 per hour
