We are a private optometry located in Temple City, CA looking to add to our team.

We are seeking long term applicants that have strong communication skills, are able to multi-task, and provide excellent customer service. Must be motivated enough to work without direct supervision. We are looking for someone who is reliable and works well with co-workers as a team.

• Preferred to be bilingual in English and Mandarin, as some of our patients DO NOT speak English. Proficient to fluent is a plus in this position.

Previous optometry office or medical experience is a plus, but not necessary! We will train the right candidate.

Pre-Optometry students are encouraged to apply as this position helps you familiarize yourself with your future career!

Front office duties include (but not limited to):

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Greet patients
• Answer multiple phone lines
• Schedule appointments
• Authorize vision insurance
• Assisting patients in frame selection
• Discussing and offering lens options to patients
• Dispensing eye wear to patients
• Contact lens insertion and removal training
• Office paperwork and filing
