Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Pull and organize all customer and sales person will calls and sample requests. Service all customers and sales team at will call desk Plan time and activities to ensure achievement of display receipt and installations into storage facilities and to assist with the preparation of special merchandising promotions and sales meetings Ensure that all point-of-sale materials and tools for the workday are available and arranged for the day’s activities. Receive, distribute, and organize all Supplier POS materials shipped to YMCO Hawaii. (neighbor islands only) Stay aware that the proper quality of product is available at the locations where the P.O.S. material is needed. (neighbor islands only) Pull and manage all sample requests for customers or sales team. Receive and process returns from the field from sales team at will call desk. Participate in physical inventory and weekly cycle counts as assigned. Restock bottle line as assigned. Provide warehouse services when necessary. Pull and destroy inventory as assigned including dumping of liquids and recycling of materials. Assist with the delivery of special large “expedited” orders to chain, off and on-premise accounts. Communicates list of POS received via email to all sales employees on a monthly basis. (neighbor islands only) Provide service to the employees of Young’s Market Company that require P.O.S. materials. (neighbor islands only) Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES: EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees, managers and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to utilize a personal computer and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software.
